Running



I went running yesterday...for the first time since...well probably since before I was pregnant! It felt REALLY weird! I didn't like the feeling of my fat jiggling around as I ran (thus the picture of the elephant running). However, I was really proud of myself at how far I was able to go without stopping and not liking the feeling made me more motivated to get in shape so that running feels good again. The problem was once I stopped I was exhausted and still had to get home some how... plus it was raining so my clothes got all wet and heavy which only added to the effort.
I woke up this morning and felt like I could barely move my legs. Muscles I forgot were there ached! Walking down the stairs proved interesting, but all in all it wasn't too bad and despite the fact that I felt like an elephant running it felt good to be able to run again!

Good job on exercising! Don't worry, you'll either lose the fat that's jiggling or you'll get used to it (which is where I sometimes feel like I'm at). :)

Good for you!! haha! The funny thing is, I know how that "I can't move my legs in the morning bc they are so sore" feeling goes. BLAH! But at least you know you did something and your getting stronger! Lol, Love the elephant.

I wish I could run. My knees lock up on me these days. But I'm walking two miles a day with my wonderful IPOD! Love that thing! See you next week, Stephanie!
