A Real Officer

On Wednesday Chris was sworn in an officer!YAY! He continues his training with a field officer for the next 6 months before he is considered an "official" officer.

His mom was able to come for his graduation. We had a lot of fun going to the Aquarium downtown and shopping in Old Town Spring.
This is me, mom and James waiting for the graduation to start. During the graduation James was having fun clapping as loud as he could (we clapped after every officer got their badge...77 of them). A little girl in front of us put her hands over her ears and turned back to glare at James. She was probably 5. It was pretty funny.

We are so proud of you, Chris! I think it is wonderful to have an officer of the law in our family! It sure is good that we have such solid citizens who want to do this work so that we can all be safer in our homes. Congratulations, Chris!
