In Limbo, again
Once again we have found ourselves in limbo, hopefully we will have some answers tomorrow when Chris sees the Dr. In June Chris hurt his knee when a man he arrested decided to fight him. (Don't worry Chris won, and by won I mean the guy went to jail). Well he's been having problems with his knee ever since. Just the last two months it has gotten really bad. Chris RARELY complains about his knee hurting him, even though I know that a majority of the time it is bothering him. SO when he was complaining about it every 5 minutes I knew something was up. He finally decided to go back in to the Dr and see what happened. LONG LONG story short after a few x-rays they found the problem and it was worse than they thought. The Dr. basically told him that if he continued being a police officer that he would likely be done in 10 years and would probably not be able to walk at that point. Tomorrow he meets with an orthopedic specialist who will probably tell him he needs to have a knee replacement. I will let you know more tomorrow...We have been talking about the possibility of moving back out to Rexburg to finish school. He would like to get a degree in Biology and then go on to Medical school, everything is up in the air so who knows...

Whoa, crazy how plans change, huh? I hope that the surgery will be on worker's comp, right? Medical school will be quite the task, but hey, we'll be up there for Wes' undergrad too! Need a sitter? I'll just hopefully be working with a job that has to do with Public Health up there!
Wow. I didn't realize his knee was so bad. Yikes! I hope it heals okay. Who knows? Maybe this could be a blessing. We will keep you in our prayers. I know things will work out for the best. I know it would be so great and feel so good to finish before baby comes! Keep us posted. We know a great place to live with an AWESOME ward (University Village)! :)
